The world acknowledges that there has been a prolonged cover-up of the sexual abuse of children by clergy across the globe.Clergy have in the past and continue to have open access and influence in all areas of our society.The Catholic and other Churches and religions demonstrate their inability to comprehend that it is the children of society who come before their financial, legal, moral, biblical, sexual and ethical wants or needs.The Catholic and other Churches and religions demonstrate that they are unable to extract themselves from biblical and religious words, notions, outrages or other actions for long enough to focus on the human needs and the human rights of all of our children.The Catholic and other Churches and religions are unable to come together to provide a universal policy in regards the conduct of religions towards children and in regards their debt to society for their past and present failures.
The Catholic and other Churches and religions are unable to put forward the notions of a knowledgeable solution from within the confines of their own structures.As a result our Governments and subsequently all the people of our country have become mired in religious dilemmas and we have effectively been forced to abandon the children of our society to the wants and dictates of dysfunctional religious teachings and practices.The denial of the human rights of our children through the ineptitude of both religious and political leaders does call for a much more appropriate response. The current response of remaining silent, confused or actionless simply perpetuates the problems and leaves our children exposed to an increasing array of unidentifiable and unknown dangers to their safety and subsequently to the safety and the future of humanity.We challenge the logic and the maturity as well as the state of mind of those who fail to publicly acknowledge that such a prolonged cover-up by authorative entities such as the Catholic church, the Jewish community, Baptist communities, Anglican communities, State and Federal Governments, Policing, Health and on across the spectrum of society have caused serious and prolonged harm upon our society and that that harm has been directed most strongly at the children of our society.
We challenge the legitimacy of Governments which fail to publicly acknowledge the cover-up of the sexual abuse of children and the harms this has and continues to bring to our society.
We find both Church and State to be a moral hazard in society and to us all whilst they fail to publicly acknowledge and recognise this global social problem.We find both Church and State to be a moral hazard in society and to us all whilst they fail to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children of society.We find both Church and State to currently be a moral hazard in our society due to their failure to act in the best interests of our children, our society and humanity.
